The Founders
Charlotte
Charlotte and Tim Proffitt, the charismatic duo behind Althea Farms, are truly a testament to a life well-lived and deliciously shared. College sweethearts who enjoy dancing through life to an eclectic soundtrack, they've cultivated a brand that embodies their spirit: warm, authentic, and utterly inviting.
Perched atop Arkansas' picturesque Petit Jean Mountain, their homestead is a vibrant hub of life, shared with two beloved dogs, two contented cats, and a bustling flock of chickens. Their greatest joy, however, comes from a yard full of family and friends playing games, sipping cocktails, and dancing under the Arkansas moon. And of course, there are platters of food and bowls of pecans for all.
Althea Farms, aptly named for the Grateful Dead song, "Althea," carries a whisper of that free-spirited, communal energy. It’s more than a brand; it's an extension of their passion for gracious entertaining, fueled by a commitment to clean, mindful consumption. From their family recipe, perfected on that very mountain, they aren't just selling snacks—they're inviting you to join their ever-expanding circle, where every bite celebrates good company and a life lived harmoniously.
